Print it from EPA's official file and add the LS-001 cover sheet in front: color booklet · black-and-white booklet · EPA pamphlet page. Massachusetts and Rhode Island brands confirm with the state program whether a state pamphlet or notice supplements or replaces it.

SOP & reference

The governing document for this program is the IHS Lead-Safe Work Practices SOP (v1.0). The portal operationalizes it; where the two differ, the SOP governs.

The standard in one screen

Assume lead on every pre-1978 property; no paint testing. Unknown year-built is treated as pre-1978.
Certified Firm and a named Certified Renovator on every Lead-Safe Job, verified in the register before scheduling.
Pamphlet delivered and LS-105 signed at contract, 60 days or fewer before start and always before start.
Containment to the trade standard: interior 6 ft floor plastic, exterior 10 ft ground plastic, windows and doors closed within 20 ft, signs posted, day-1 photos by noon.
Prohibited at all times: torching, heat guns above 1,100 °F, unshrouded power sanding, grinding or blasting.
Verification and checklist: the CR cleans, verifies, signs LS-110 and delivers it to the owner within 30 days.
Packet before payment: no final draw and no close until the packet passes the automated check.
Three-layer audit: automated gate on 100% of jobs, AI document and photo review on 100%, unannounced jobsite inspections on at least 10% and every crew each quarter.
Records kept 7 years, read-only once closed.
One complaint channel: leadsafe@infinityhomeservices.com, printed on every checklist and pamphlet cover sheet.
